After posting earlier that I endeavor to never DNF a book that I start reading, I figured I might go into a little bit of detail about this habit.
Having just finished Bernadine Evaristo’s Award-Winning Novel “Girl, Woman, Other” I’m taking a look at the books that I have left on my to-read pile, and the books that I’ve finished thus far.
In December of 2018, I decided to participate in the “Reading Challenge” that Goodreads hosts every year. I imagined myself being ambitious when I set my challenge at a measly 15 books. I don’t have to tell you that this goal was easily accomplished—and then some.
While spending time abroad in Melbourne, I've made a mental note not to buy too many books since I’d have to take them all back home with me. This advice did not last long. Here is a collection of titles I’ve added to my reading list since the beginning of August.
First impressions? This book is crazy, Off-the-walls insane. Amazing, confrontational, horrifying, truthful, angry, ugly—all at the same time. And it's fantastic.
