Why in the name of Jane Austen did I start a book blog? I wish I could answer that question. It does seem a rather silly platform, but I’ll stand on it. Given my tendency to write excessively lengthy Goodreads reviews, a knack fo pulling an unnecessary amount of detail about margin sizes and folios out of thin air, and a general disposition towards being overly wordy, a book blog seems the working solution to all of that.
I don’t know if “book blog” is the right descriptor for whatever this is, but it will have to do. What you’ll find here is: book reviews, analysis of book design and construction, fun listicals, and other book/publishing tidbits.
